More info on pad replacement sets:
Printed EVA foam traction pads are softer and use the same material that is on the bottom of your running shoes. They provide more cushioning and are more resistant to dirt, fur, and fluids, but will show claw marks more easily. The felt traction pads don't offer much cushioning, but they are more durable and can withstand the occasional stretch and scratch.
Dimensions*:
Gen. 6-7: 17" L x 10.8" W (43 cm x 27.5 cm) per pad, 8-pack
Gen. 5: 16.7" L x 10.6" W (42.5 cm x 27 cm) per pad, 8-pack
Gen. 1-4: 15.6" L x 8.3" W (39.5 cm x 21 cm) per pack, 9-pack
Gen 1-4 pads and Gen 5 pads have been discontinued and won't be restocking. Gen 6-7 pads are close enough in size to the Gen 5 that they can also be used for these wheels as long as you trim the last pad down. For Gen 1-4 pads, the size difference between them and the Gen 7 is great enough that you may have better luck DIYing your own pads out of adhesive foam sheets, rather than getting Gen 6/7 style.
*Pads are often cut long to ensure full coverage of the wheel. Please note that a bit of trimming of the last pad is typically required to avoid an overlap.
