<p>The Gen 5 wheel was discontinued several years ago, and we no longer carry or make plastic components for it (we do still have Gen 5 traction pads). If your base has worn out, you can use one of our Gen 7 bases with it. However, please be advised that due to small differences in wheel size, the Gen 5 wheel does not roll perfectly on the Gen 7 base. It will not fall off, but it does tend to have a more pronounced wobble, and it makes a mild scraping noise.</p><p>If you prefer to replace your Gen 5 base with one from the same generation, you will need to check with third-party marketplaces to see if anyone else happens to be selling one of their old wheels or parts. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.&#xA0;</p>
