The cat wheel can be disassembled, but it takes more time and effort to take apart than it does to put together, and you'll need to remove the traction pads first (which means you'll need a replacement set if you plan on re-assembling the wheel later). The parts also have small tabs that can be delicate, which can snap or crack if too much pressure is applied during the process. Because of this, we don't recommend disassembling the wheel unless you are planning to return it or unless it's necessary for moving or storing it.
