Can I still return the wheel if I no longer have the original box?Updated 22 days ago
While we strongly encourage shipping the wheel back in the original box, we do understand that sometimes the box may be in a condition where it is no longer usable, or it may have been thrown out. In this kind of situation you can still return the wheel, provided that it meets the other return requirements, but we are not able to provide a shipping label. That means that you will need to acquire your own box*, and both the cost of the return shipping and the cost of whatever box you get are your responsibility. We will issue a full refund for the wheel, but we cannot reimburse those other costs.
To proceed with a return in a box that is not the original, please send an email to our customer care team at [email protected] with your order number and let them know that you need to do a return without the original box. They will email you back with the RMA that you need in order to proceed with the return. You will then want to pack the wheel in a box and take it to a local carrier. It does not matter what carrier you use, as long as they provide trackable labels. Usually the US Postal Service will offer the best rates, but it never hurts to check around in case there is someone cheaper in your area.

Make sure to save a copy of the shipping receipt along with the tracking number! If there are any issues with delivery, such as the carrier losing the package or delivering it to the wrong place (yes, it does happen), we cannot issue a refund to you unless you can provide proof that the package was shipped to us. The tracking number and receipt will serve as that proof in that scenario, and you will still receive your refund even if the package is never found so long as you can provide that information.
*Please note that we are not able to ship out empty boxes for you to use to send the wheel back. You will need to obtain your own box. We recommend looking for one that is close to the original 36" x 13" x 12" dimensions to keep shipping costs down.
